Curt Beyer is the visionary founder of the Great Canadian Group of Companies, bringing nearly five decades of entrepreneurial expertise to the construction industry. His extensive career has seen the successful establishment of various enterprises, ranging from shingle manufacturing to roofing and siding application companies, prefabricated framing plants in Alberta and the US, and home building organizations. Curt’s key strength lies in his ability to inspire his workforce—a true leader who elicits the best from people. This infectious attitude has been transmitted to his team leaders, cultivating cultures of professionalism, excellence, and innovation.
As the General Manager of Great Canadian Exteriors, Jarred Beyer is a steadfast and accomplished leader. Jarred learned the value of hard work and its direct correlation to results. Initially joining the organization as a subcontractor in his youth, Jarred gained comprehensive knowledge of every aspect of the business. Reluctantly assuming the role of GM at the age of 25, he brought with him a genuine passion for siding, which has since evolved into a reputation for maintaining composure and realism. Jarred’s calm demeanor has played a crucial role in fostering enduring relationships with both customers and suppliers. Known for providing the team with the necessary resources for business growth, Jarred’s dedication is humorously evident in his joy for investing in machinery and equipment that enhance the organization. He ensures that what is sold is delivered to expectations, instilling confidence in Taylor and the entire team to expand the company’s sales and offerings.
Taylor Beyer, the Director of Sales and Operations at Great Canadian Exteriors, is the driving force behind the company’s change and growth. Having grown up within the Great Canadian legacy, Taylor embodies the ethos of hard work instilled by his family. His journey with the company began at the age of 13, progressing from service work alongside the service manager to leading hourly siding crews. This hands-on experience not only honed his customer interaction skills but also equipped him with the ability to manage employees and construction sites effectively. Over the years, Taylor has been instrumental in various aspects of organizational growth, leading his foremen to expand from 6 to over 60 hourly installers and 6 Sub crews to 70 crews. In the realm of sales, Taylor has overseen estimating and purchasing for the past 5 years, contributing significantly to more than tripling the company’s sales from his first year to the present day. Taylor finds it very easy to grow the organization due to his team backing up all of his promises. In the field he is confident that the his team will represent Great Canadian Exteriors well, in estimating and purchasing he can count on his staff with providing accurate orders and quotes.
